Jesse W. Pottorff

Jesse W. Pottorff, age 25, of Louisburg, KS, departed this life on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at his home. He was born September 2, 1986 in Kansas City, MO, the son of William D. Pottorff and Christine Watrous Pottorff. Jesse was a life long resident of Louisburg, KS. Growing up at Cedar Cove, Jesse"s love of animals began at a very early age. His love of adventure took him on a tornado chasing tour throughout the midwest. This was an experience of a lifetime for Jesse. He was a movie buff and enjoyed all types of music. Jesse was very proud to have received his GED in 2005. He was a friend to many and had a very compassionate heart. Jesse was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather and Uncle, Steve Watrous. He is survived by his mother, Christine Pottorff, of the home; his father Billy Pottorff and companion Dana, Louisburg, KS; half brother Billy Dwayne Pottorff, Allen, OK; loving grandmother, Alberta Whitaker and step grandfather Clarence, Louisburg, KS; countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and one very ornery cat, Jonesie, adopted from Olive"s Hope.
