Jerry Coffman

Jerry Lee Coffman age 33 of Paola, passed away at his home on Monday Sept. 19, 2011. In leiu of flowers memorials may be made to the Miami County 4-H Foundation/Coffman Scholarship Fund, the Miami County EMS, or your choice in care of Penwell-Gabel Paola, 305 N. Pearl , Paola KS., 66071. Jerry was born on Aug.23, 1978 in Anthony, Kansas to Jack Lee and Crystal Fay (Reimer) Coffman. He moved to Paola in 1988 and graduated from Paola High School in 1997. Jerry enjoyed working on his 1968 Mustang, fixing things for friends and family, enjoyed working with his hands, and attending music concerts. He was a giving and caring person, willing to give a helping hand and was a person with a warm heart. Jerry was diagnosed with Diabetes at the age of 4 and lost his battle with the disease. Jerry will be greatly missed by family and friends. Survivors are his parents, Jack and Crystal Coffman of Paola, and one brother Dan Coffman, his wife, Paola and daughter Karla of Olathe, Kansas.
