Jeffrey L. Fritts

Jeffrey Lee Fritts, 58, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016, at his home in Ottawa, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 22, 2016, at Dengel & Son Mortuary. Family will meet with friends one hour prior to service at 9:00 A.M. The family requests casual attire at the funeral service. Interment Stony Point Cemetery, Douglas County, Kansas. Military honors by Kansas Army National Guard. Jeffrey was born Tuesday, April 15, 1958, in Ottawa, Kansas, the son of Rodney and Irma (Cook) Fritts. He was a lifelong Ottawa resident. He graduated from Ottawa High School. Jeffrey served in the United States Army as a paratrooper during Desert Storm. Survivors include his parents, Rodney and Irma Fritts; and two children, Nicholas Jason Fritts and Ashley Dawn Fritts. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Rodney Wayne Fritts; infant sister, Anna Marie Fritts; and brother, Clinton D. Fritts. Jeffrey was currently employed with American Eagle. He was a member of the North Baptist Church. Jeffrey loved spending time with his friends and was an avid KC Chiefs football fan.
