Jason Edward Smith

Jason Edward Smith, 37, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Monday, January 3, 2022. Private graveside services were held at Evergreen Mound Cemetery, Ottawa. Jason was born April 16, 1984, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Kenneth and Louise (Hermreck) Smith. He was a lifelong Ottawa resident, graduating from Pomona High School with the Class of 2002. Jason was employed as a production worker with AGC Flat Glass in Spring Hill, Kansas, and previously worked at Midwest Cabinet in Ottawa. Survivors include his parents, Kenneth and Louise Smith of Ottawa; sister Cathy Smith of Gardner; and a very close family friend, Julie Showalter of Ottawa.
