Janis Elaine (Rowland) Warrick, age 54, of Lenexa, Kan., died Tuesday, December 24, 2002, at her residence in Lenexa, Kansas. In 1956, she moved to Germany and Manhattan, Kansas in 1959. In 1962, she moved to Ottawa and to the Kansas City area in 1986, currently living in Lenexa, Kansas. Janis graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1966 and received a Bachelors Degree in Business at Ottawa University in 1981. She worked at Peoples National Bank in Ottawa as a travel agent while attending Ottawa University. She then worked in Human Resources at Franklin Savings in Ottawa. From 1993 to 1996, she worked in Human Resources for Horizon Healthcare, completing her career as an Administrative Assistant for Sprint, both in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Beta Sigma Phi, both of Ottawa. She was a volunteer at Ronald McDonald House, Kansas City, Kansas, serving food, and member of the Humane Society. In 1968, Janis was united in marriage with Gary Warrick at Ottawa, Kansas. They were divorced in 1977. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2002, with interment at 2:30 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery, Plattsburg, Missouri. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Ken Cantrell, Life Church of Kansas City, Kansas. IN STATE: Mrs. Warrick will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 5:00 p.m. Sunday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7:00 to 8:00 Monday evening. CEMETERY: Mt.
