Janice Elaine Price, 77, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Olathe Health Hospice House. No services are planned. Private family burial later at Highland Cemetery. Janice was born December 11, 1942 at Ottawa, Kansas. She was the daughter of Floyd Raymond and Eleanor Marie (Walter) Smith. She lived eleven years in Olathe, Kansas and in 1974 moved to Ottawa. Janice graduated from Pomona High School in Pomona, Kansas with the class of 1960. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Eleanor Smith. Survivors include her daughter, Kimberley Price of Ottawa; sons, Clay Price of Uniontown, Kansas and Kevin Price of Sierra Vista, Arizona; sisters, Carol Rew and husband Bob of Kansas City, Missouri and Kathy Crane and husband Rex of Colony, Kansas; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Janice was a devoted lifelong homemaker. She loved restoring furniture, antiquing, going to flee markets, auctions and enjoyed many craft activities. Above all, Janice looked forward to spending time with her family and grandchildren.
