Janet May Williams

She lived in Ottawa the past two years. From 1998 to 2003, she lived in Wheatland, Missouri;1986 to 1989, Olathe, Kansas; 1962 to 1986, Mont Vernon, New Hampshire; and 1939 to 1962, Marshfield, Massachusetts. Janet graduated from Quincy (Massachusetts) High School. She was a homemaker. She also owned and operated a General Store in Mont Vernon, New Hampshire, from 1971 to 1982. She was a member of First Christian Church in Ottawa and a volunteer at the Olathe Library eight years. On May 5, 1939, Janet was united in marriage with Oswald Williams at Quincy, Massachusetts. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1984. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at First Christian Church in Ottawa at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2005. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Rev. Katrina Palan of First Christian Church, and Hospice Chaplain, Chuck Murphy. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Williams at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8:00 Wednesday evening.
