Janet Kay Wallace, 78, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Advent Health Shawnee Mission, Merriam, Kansas.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Hope Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas.
The family will meet friends from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M., Monday, June 5, 2023, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa, Kansas.
Janet was born Monday, February 12, 1945, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Kendall and Frances (Lilly) Lucas.
She was a lifelong Ottawa resident, graduating from Ottawa High School.
Janet loved to volunteer in the community, being with her friends, shopping, and Dr. Pepper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kendall and Frances.
Survivors include several siblings and her beloved family and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Friends of C.O.F. c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
