James Ray Haight

James was born in Ottawa KS, to Norman and Mary Stevenson Haight on July 12, 1946. He was united in marraige to Brenda Lowry on November 9, 1969, and together they had 3 sons. He resided most of his adult life on the family homestead in rural Miami County Kansas and was a professional over the road truck driver. He became single in 1994 and lived the remainder of his life in the Kansas City area. Jim was an entrepreneur at heart, loved adventure and people. His love for family and history lead him to be an avid researcher of genealogy. What he enjoyed most was to get together with others and tell stories of his life experiences. He will be greatly missed by his family. Survivors include three sons, James A Haight, David P. Haight and Robert S. Haight, 3 brothers George, Richard, and Steven Haight and one sister Esther Fitzgerald.
