James R. White

James R. White, 78, of Paola, passed away January 11, 2018 at Olathe Hospice House. James was born January 19, 1939 to Walter L. and Goldie (Davenport) White at Eldon, Missouri. James worked at Lang Chevrolet for 23 years. James loved his church and enjoyed shooting guns, riding motorcycles and serving in his church; he was head deacon, treasurer and served in many ways. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; children James E. White of Osawatomie, Donna Diediker of Osawatomie, Kevin White of Paola, and Kathy Waddle of Paola; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church or Olathe Hospice House. Family and friends are encouraged to post their condolences and memories on James' Tribute Wall.
