James F. Moser Sr.

James Francis Moser Sr. age 63 of Paola, passed away July 1, 2011 at his home. Memorials to the Miami County Cancer Society or the Miami County Veterans Assoc. James was born July 4, 1947 in Paola Kansas to John and Wilma Moser. On Aug 20, 1976 he was united in marriage to Janet R. Brewer. James loved spending time with his family and being outdoors. He was a skilled carpenter and siding installer, owning his own Moser Siding Company. He had a large collection of books that he enjoyed reading. He attended the Osawatomie Wesleyan Church. James served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are his wife Janet and daughter Sara Rose Moser of the home, sons James Francis Moser Jr. and wife Lizann, Stephen Corey Moser and wife Shannon all of Paola, also a daughter Karla Belcher of Ft. Smith Arkansas, 3 grandchildren, brothers, Dale Moser and Daniel Kenneth Moser of Paola, sisters Hazel Forgey of Olathe, and Mary Blanchard of Paola.
