He lived in Beebe, Arkansas seventeen years, moving to Pryor, Oklahoma in March of 2004. Jack attended Kansas City, Kansas and Pomona, Kansas schools. He quit high school when he was a sophomore and earned his GED while serving in the Army. He was an electrician for TWA twenty-one years, retiring in 1986. Jack served in the United States Army from 1948 to 1951. He was stationed in Germany during the Occupation at the end of World War II. He was a member of Assembly of God Church in Pomona, and Electrical Union Local #53, Kansas City, Missouri. He also enjoyed many years on the HAMM Radio. On December 24, 1945, Jack was united in marriage with Leota M. Welch at Pomona, Kansas. She survives of their home. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held from the Dengel & Son Mortuary 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2004. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mr. Langley at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends 7 to 8 Tuesday evening. CEMETERY: Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kansas.
