Jack Alpert, 74, of Paola, Kansas passed away July 24, 2017 at his home. Jackie Lee Kindred born Nov. 12, 1942 at Clinton, Missouri and Adopted by Ted and Opal (Hahn) Alpert, local Paola, Kansas farmers. Jack attended the First Lutheran Parochial school in Paola and graduated from Paola High School with the class of 1961. He obtained his Bachelors and Master’s degree from Pittsburg State College in 1969 and 1971. He majored in Technical Electronics. He met his wife, Freda Marie Smith his senior year at Pittsburg State College. Freda was from Frontenac, Kansas. They married April 5, 1969 in Miami, Oklahoma. Jack did custom design work of micro-computer process systems doing hardware, firmware, mechanical design plus programming. He also farmed fulltime after returning to the family farm in 1987. For leisure time, he had to be outside hunting, fishing, hiking, and working on things. Jack and Freda had one daughter, Karla Marie Alpert, born July 13,1970. Jack was proceeded in death by his parents, Ted and Opal Alpert, daughter Karla Alpert Munir, brother, Richard Mac Kindred of Fulton, MO. Jack is survived by his wife Freda Alpert of the home, and grandson Kameron Umair Alpert Munir of Olathe, KS.
