Isabella Carmen Hankins, infant daughter of William Scott Hankins and Brooke D. Phillips, was born August 3, 2007, in Ottawa, Kansas, and died Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at the age of two months, twenty-eight days. Isabella is also survived by her grandmother, Janie Slankard of Ottawa; paternal grandparents, Bobbie Hankins of Gardner, Lisa Underwood of Georgia; paternal great grandmothers, Mary Wright of Pomona, Mary Lopez of California; paternal great-great grandparents, Betty Lopez and Phillip Serrano, both of California; two uncles, Dylan Phillips of Ottawa, Matthew Hankins of Georgia; three great aunts, Victoria Ruiz of California, Anita Slankard and Diana Ritzel, both of Ottawa; three great uncles, Casey Hankins of Pomona, Dan Hankins of Ottawa, Rick Hankins of Peoria; one great-great aunt, Lois Myers of Appanoose; and numerous cousins. Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as them. SERVICES: Graveside funeral services will be held from the Greenwood Cemetery, 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 5, 2007. IN STATE: Isabella will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary after noon Saturday to 5 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 9 p.m Sunday. CEMETERY: Greenwood Cemetery.
