Isabel Hart

Isabel Hart, 73, of Red Wing, Minnesota. formerly of Ottawa, Kansas., died Monday, May 26, 2003, at Fairview Seminary Home in Red Wing. She was born April 25, 1930 west of Victoria on the Andreas Sander Homestead to Frank and Agnes (Dinkel) Sander. Isabel grew up in Victoria, Kansas, moving to Ottawa in 1953. For the past year and a half, she has lived with her daughter in Red Wing, Minnesota. She graduated from Fedelis High School in Victoria. She was a lifelong homemaker. She drove a school bus and worked in the food service industry for many years in Ottawa, which included managing the deli at Ray`s IGA. Isabel was a member of Sacred Heart Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society and the Daughter`s of Isabella. On October 12, 1953, Isabel was united in marriage with Arnold Robert Hart at Victoria, Kansas. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1990. Survivors include two sons; Miles (Tammy) Hart of Ottawa, Arnie (Carol) Hart of Lawrence, Kansas., and one daughter, Lori Ann (Charlie) Myers of Red Wing; six grandchildren, Kyle, Kari, Addie and Nathan Hart and Ethan and Emma Myers; three brothers, Leo (Mary Dean) Sander of Wichita, Kansas., Gilbert (Kathleen) Sander of Great Bend, Kansas. and Donald Sander of Victoria Kansas.; two sisters, Teckla (Herman) Hammerschmidt of Russell, Kansas. and Agnes (Ralph) Schrant of Hays, Kansas., and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Lamb, brother, Eddie Sander, two infant brothers, Francis and John and one sister, Imelda Sander. SERVICES: A Funeral Mass will be held from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ottawa, 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2003. OFFICIANT: Fr. Tod Ziegler. IN STATE: Mrs. Hart will lie in state after 5:00 p.m. Friday at Dengel & Son Mortuary to the service hour, where a Rosary will be said at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 1, followed by a family visitation at 4:30.
