Irma Louise Fritts, 88, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Sunflower Plaza, Ottawa, Kansas.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa.
Interment Stony Point Cemetery, Douglas County, Kansas.
Irma was born Saturday, November 30, 1934, in Williamsburg, Kansas, the daughter of Everett and Sarah (Eggberry) Cook.
She was a lifelong Franklin County resident, graduating from Williamsburg High School with the class of 1952.
Irma was united in marriage to Rodney L. Fritts September 8, 1953, in Ottawa. He proceeded her in death on August 13, 2018.
She was a member of the North Baptist Church. Irma enjoyed traveling, quilting, crocheting, embroidering, and canning. She especially enjoyed her time spent with family and grandchildren.
Irma was the last of her family. She was one of eight siblings.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Fritts; daughter, Anna Marie Fritts; sons, Rodney W. Fritts, Clinton Fritts, and Jeffrey Fritts.
Survivors include daughter, Rebecca Wittenburg LaPlant (Richard); seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.
