Irene Trageser

Irene F. Trageser age 82 of Paola passed away on Dec. 27, at the Olathe Medical Center. Services are Wed. Dec.31 at 11:00 AM First Lutheran Church Paola, visitation Tues 6 to 8:00PM at the Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel, memorials to the Church. Irene was born on Dec.29, 1925 in Hoisington KS. to Emanuel and Amelia Wilhelm Schwein. She moved to Paola in the early 40"s and graduated from high school in 1945. On July 12, 1951 she was united in marriage to Leo Trageser in Wea. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, quilting, and crocheting, making crafts and spending time with her husband. Irene was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Paola. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister Virginia Brady. Survivors are husband Leo of the home, daughter, Cheryl Trageser of Osawatomie, son, Jerry and wife Marty Trageser of Belleue Nebraska, two grandsons Jeremy and Christopher Trageser, and one granddaughter Latasha Trageser.
