Ilene Marie Schulz

Ilene Marie (Howard) McCormick-Schulz was born October 9, 1931, in Manhattan, Kansas. She was the daughter of Orville H. and Pauline C. (Henderson) Howard. She lived in Topeka, Kansas, before moving to Gardner, Kansas, where she made her home until her death on Thursday, August 17, 2006, at the age of seventy-four years. Ilene graduated from Topeka High School with the class of 1949. She graduated from Vail School of Nursing in Topeka in 1952. She was a registered nurse. She was married to John McCormick at Topeka. They later divorced. On October 13, 1976, Ilene was united in marriage with John Schulz at Ottawa. He survives of their home. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Robert Ripple of Deal, Maryland; and sister, Corinne Grizzard, of Topeka, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her parents. SERVICES: Graveside services will be held at Topeka Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2006. CEMETERY: Topeka Cemetery, Topeka, Kansas.
