Henry Thomas Willoughby, 75, of Ottawa, Kansas passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at his home. Cremation is planned. Henry was born on Monday, April 11, 1938 in Winchester, Kentucky, the son of Henry and Maude Ann (Reed) Willoughby. Henry grew up in Winchester, Kentucky, moving to Ottawa, Kansas in 1989. He attended Camp Ground School in Winchester, Kentucky. Survivors include his three children, Edith Ann, Mary Jane and Bobby James all of Mount Sterling, Kentucky; two sisters, Fannie Ainsworth of Ottawa and Anna Willoughby of Clay City, Kentucky; several grandchildren; nephew, Mark Baber of Ottawa; two nieces, Virginia Baber and Chasity Rice both of Ottawa; and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Tommy and Billy Ray Willoughby; daughter, Della Sue; four sisters, Juanita, Tilda, Leona and Mary. Henry was a lifelong farmer in both livestock and crops. He served in the Kentucky National Guard. He enjoyed going fishing, deer hunting, and playing pool in his spare time.
