January 25, 1928, in Quenemo, Kansas. He was the son of Henry Karl and Alvina Louisa (Hinz) Dehn. A lifelong resident, Henry made his home in Franklin County, Kansas, until his death on Friday, June 11, 2010, at the age of eighty-two years. He graduated from Williamsburg High School with the class of 1946. Henry drove a school bus over fifty years, first for the West Franklin District 287 and then for Ottawa USD 290 since 1996. He also farmed over the years and was a truck driver. Henry served in the United States Army during the Korean War, serving in Germany. He was a member of Williamsburg United Methodist Church. On May 3, 1951, Henry was united in marriage with Doris Mae Hegle in Quenemo, Kansas. She survives of their home. He is also survived by his four sons, Robert Dehn and his wife, Marty, of Garnett, Kansas, Roger Dehn and his wife, Kathy, of Topeka, Kansas, Ricky Dehn and his wife, Tammie, of Topeka, Kansas, Randy Dehn and his wife, Tommie, of Ponca City, Oklahoma; brother, Alvin Dehn and his wife, Charlotte, of Ottawa, Kansas; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and baby sister, Alvina Dehn. Funeral Services will be held from Dengel & Son Mortuary 2:00p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Interment in Central Cemetery south of Pomona. Mr. Dehn will lie instate at the Mortuary after 5:00p.m. Monday where the family will meet with friends 7-8 Monday evening.
