Henry Earl Loving passed away at home on July 1, 2024.
Visitation will be held on July 8, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held on July 9, 2024 beginning at 10:30am, at the Dengel & Son Mortuary-Paola Chapel, 305 N. Pearl St. Paola, Kansas 66071. Dr. Nathan Jones will be saying the prayer and words of comfort for the family. Sister Viola Jones will be performing a song. Both of the Third Missionary Baptist Church of Kansas City, Kansas.
On July 1, 1944, Henry Earl Loving was born to the late Henry Lee Loving and the late Charlie Ruth Loving Robinson, in Philadelphia, Mississippi.
Henry grew up in Paola, Kansas, and attended school there.
He married the late Diane Dillard Loving and there were eight children born to that union. In 1998, he met and married Lizzie Loving.
Henry worked many jobs to support his family. He joined the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church where he would serve as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher, superintendent, and a musician. He organized the Noah ARK Independent Baptist Mission and served as a Pastor. He also did Evangelist mission work at varies nursing homes. Henry served as a Chapman at the State Hospital in Osawatomie, KS, up until his health began to fail him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Charlie Ruth Loving, his first wife, Diane Loving, and son, Kevin Loving.
Henry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lizzie Loving, of the home. Seven children, Rudy (Dee) Loving, Lisa Howard, Carla (Roger) Maynard, Kim (Randy) Cross, Aleasha Stephens, Daniel (Kelsey) Loving, Uvette Loving, all of the Paola, Kansas area. Also surviving Henry are daughter-in-law, Stephanie Loving, thirty-eight grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, three step-sons, Donzie of Las Vegas, NV, Daniel, and Dallas Ford, brothers-in-law, Dr. Nathan (Viola) Jones, Henry (Annie) Jones, sisters-in-law, Hester (Gary) Melton of Fitzgerald, GA, Evangelist, Lillie Cooper, of Orlando, FL, and Hattie Fulton of Pompano Beach, FL, a host of cousins and sorrowful friends.
He will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.
