Henry A. Doenges

Henry A. Doenges, age 70, passed away July 22, 2015 at Life Care Center of Osawatomie, Kansas. Henry was born September 22, 1944 to Faye Eugene and Elizabeth Carey Doenges in Moultrie, Georgia. He was raised in Columbia, Missouri. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge. On May 30, 1991 he was united in marriage to Nancy Rigg. Henry owned a pest control business in Arizona and Texas and worked for JC Nichols as a commercial painting contractor. He also served his community as the Stanton County Township Clerk for 9 years. Henry enjoyed shooting and took pride in keeping his acreage well maintained. He had fun shooting hedge apples with his kids. He was an avid Chiefs fan. He had quite the life full of adventure, intrigue, and laughter and he is on to his next adventure. Henry is survived by his wife Nancy; children Pamela Eugene Yarborough, King Henry Doenges, and Max Douglas Doenges; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and sister Jane Kendrick.
