Helen Nadine Larkin

December 25, 1920 — September 29, 2005

Nadine was a near lifelong Ottawa resident. Nadine attended Ottawa schools. She worked a short time at a PX in Alaska. She also worked as a waitress; at Montgomery Ward; Parmalee; Pamida; and Wal-Mart; and owned Mode O`Day dress shop, all in Ottawa. Nadine was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Ottawa, and past member of Aerie Lodge #309, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary in Lawrence, Kansas. On May 18, 1938, Nadine was united in marraige with Paul L. Johnson at Lawrence, Kansas. He preceded her in death in 1976. On May 25, 1982, Nadine was united in marriage with Larry J. Larkin at Vinita, Oklahoma. He survives of their home. SERVICES: Graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona, 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2005. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Larkin from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at Dengel & Son Mortuary. INTERMENT: Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona, Kansas. MEMORIALS: The family suggests memorials to Hospice Care of Kansas or Richmond Health Care Center, c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
