Helen Irene Linneman

Helen Irene Linneman, born on September 2, 1931, peacefully departed this world on April 8, 2025, at her home in Pomona, Kansas. With a life rich in love and family, Helen will be remembered for her dedication to her loved ones and the profound impact she had on all those fortunate enough to know her.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Warren Linneman, to whom she was married for nearly 57 years, sharing their vows on April 17, 1968. She also reunites with her two children, her sister Hazel, her brothers Homer and Albert, as well as her parents, Hubert Ruso and Amy May Perry.

Her life was marked by her commitment to caregiving, as she spent many years working at Cedar House Nursing Home and Ottawa Retirement Community, and also served as a private nurse. Helen’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional life; she was also an animal lover who enjoyed raising dogs, further exemplifying her gentle nature and compassion.

Helen is survived by seven children, who carry forth her legacy, alongside twenty-five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her, and she delighted in every moment spent with them, creating memories that will forever be treasured.

Her involvement in the community was notable, as she was a member of the Aerie Lodge 2700 Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Veterans Foreign Wars Memorial Post 5901 of Ottawa, reflecting her strong ties and contributions to those around her.

In honor of her remarkable spirit, she is celebrated not only for her familial love but also for the warmth she brought to all aspects of her life. As a loving mother, her children penned a heartfelt tribute:
