Harold Peuser age 78 of Paola passed away Sat. Jan. 19 at his home. Service will be Tuesday Jan. 22 at 10AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Paola, Rosary 6pm Monday with visitation 6:30 to 8 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Paola Chapel, Burial Holy Cross Cemetery. Pearl Paola Kansas 66071) Harold was born July 4, 1929 in Wea Kansas to George Peter and Alma Marie Miller Peuser. He graduated from Wea High School in 1947 and in 1948 enlisted in the United States Navy and served his country until 1952. On September 17 of 1955 he was united in marriage to Mary Rose Hyrup in Basalt Colorado. Harold and his wife lived in Miami County all of their adult life where he was a father of eight children and a Dairy Farmer . He also was very active with the Rural Water District #1. His memberships were Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, President and manager of Rwd #1, Dairy Superintendent and on the Miami County Fair Board. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jim Peuser, and brother in law Bill Meier. Survivors are his wife Mary Rose of the home, children, Pat of LaCygne, Dale , Mark, Pete and wife Missy all of Paola, Rita Kennedy and husband Larry of Meriden, Kansas, Jerry of Clinton Utah, Ann Marie Peuser of Baldwin, Mike of Gardner, brother Donald and wife Mary Peuser of Bucyrus, brother Robert and wife Bette Peuser of Bucyrus, sister Dolores Meier of SunCity Az., sister Joanne and husband Mike McElheny of Tuscon, AZ. sister in law Mary Ann Peuser of Gardner, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild Holy Triinity Catholic Church Paola, Kansas Service: Tuesday, January 22, 2008 10:00 AM Visitation: Monday, January 21, 2008 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
