Gwendolyn Alexandria Corbin

Gwendolyn Alexandria Corbin was born on Friday, May 23, 2008, in Saint Joseph, Missouri. She was the daughter of Bryan Corbin and Carrie Smith. She lived in Saint Joseph with her parents and sisters, Samarra Ellington and Isabelle Corbin, until her death on Sunday, October 26, 2008, at the age of five months. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, April and Lucky Stooksbury of Emporia, Kansas; paternal grandmother, Shirley Corbin of Ottawa, Kansas; maternal great-grandparents, Janice and Wayne Barber of Stanberry, Missouri; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Gene S. Corbin. SERVICES: Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa, Kansas. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Gwendolyn at the Dengel & Son Mortuary from 9:00 a.m. Thursday to the service hour, where the family will meet with friends from 12:00 noon Thursday to 1:30 p.m., at which time family and friends will process to Highland Cemetery for graveside services.
