Gregory Darby

Gregory A. Darby, age 58, passed away January 2, 2017 at Olathe Hospice House. He was born on January 11, 1958 in Junction City KS, to Donald and Ida Day Darby. He worked for Shawnee Evans as a truck driver and warehouse worker, Danisco as a logistics transportation manager, and lastly L and K Waste Management Company. His hobbies where fishing, camping, and drag racing. He enjoyed watching football, playing the guitar, and especially spending time with family and friends. Surviving are his father Donald Darby, brother Curtis Darby, and sisters Debbie Woolard and Terese Darby. Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 305 N. Pearl St., Paola, KS. Graveside service is 11:30 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Highland Cemetery, Junction City, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
