Gracie Cramer

Gracie Cramer, 89, passed away January 20, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Spring Hill, Kansas. She was born May 15, 1920 in Paola, Kansas to Harold Leroy Dickey Sr. and Mabel Bell Andrews Dickey. Gracie worked for many years as a cashier at Sutherlands grocery store in Paola. Her hobbies included watching WWC wrestling every week, doing crossword puzzles, painting on pillowcases and dish towels to give away, and writing in her journal every day. She became the mother of four daughters; Dixie Martin of Mission, Texas; Mary Lou White (deceased) of Paola, KS; Patsy Gallagher of Olathe, KS; and Melody Carpenter of Wellsville, KS; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was able to take a 5-generation family picture with her most recent great-great-grandchild that was born in December. She also leaves behind two brothers; Harold Dickey Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; and Robert Dickey of Baltimore, MD. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one granddaughter, two grandsons, and her husbands. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
