Grace W. Hornbuckle, 90, of Kearney, MO, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Kindred Northland Hospital in Kansas, City, MO. She was born October 4, 1921 in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Roy Lemm and Ethel (Grace) Webb. She was united in marriage to Earl Hornbuckle on June 1, 1940 at Manhattan, KS. They celebrated 58 years of marriage before Earl passed away in 1998. Grace worked for 15 years at the DeMolay International Headquarters, a division of the Masons for 14 " 18 year old boys. She was a lifelong member of the Eastern Star. Grace and Earl owned and operated Earl"s Greenhouse and Floral Shop in Louisburg, KS for 15 years before retiring. After selling the greenhouse they moved to Hermitage, MO. They enjoyed traveling in their motor home and wintering in Pharr, TX. She was a resident of Westbrook Care Center/Villas in Kearney, MO for the past 7 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Merle Webb, and her husband, Earl Hornbuckle. Survivors include sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sterling and Winona Hornbuckle, Louisburg, KS; and many nieces and nephews. The family suggests contributions to the Paola Eastern Star.
