Grace Cecilla Piersol

Grace Cecilla (Ferguson) Piersol, age 80, of Williamsburg, Kan., died Monday, June 3, 2002, at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa, Kan. She was the daughter of the George Ferguson and the Ella (Fiest) Ferguson. She was a near lifelong resident of rural Williamsburg, Kansas, moving there from Chapman, Kansas. She was a lifelong homemaker. On November 18, 1942, Grace was united in marriage with Evan Elwood Piersol at Ottawa. He preceded her in death. She was a former member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Emerald Community, and current member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ottawa. Brother-George Ferguson of Ottawa, Kan. Grandchildren-Six She was preceded in Death by: Husband-Evan Elwood Piersol, Father-George Elmer Ferguson, Mother-Ella Anna (Fiest) Ferguson. SERVICES: A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2002, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Emerald Community, south of Williamsburg, Kansas. OFFICIATING CLERGY: Fr. Michael Hawken. IN STATE: Mrs. Piersol will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary from 9 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, where a Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. followed by a family visitation from 7 to 8:00 p.m. CEMETERY: St. Patrick's Cemetery.
