Gloria Fritts, 80, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Rock Creek of Ottawa. Memorial services will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Hope Anthem Church, Ottawa, Kansas. She was born July 22, 1941, in Salisbury, North Carolina, the daughter of Aldrige and Margaret (Swicegood) Nesbitt. Gloria lived in Ottawa since 1986 moving here from Wellsville where she had lived from 1973 to 1986. She was united in marriage to Pedro Hernandez they later divorced. She married William Lute Sr., they later divorced. Gloria was then united in marriage to Nelson Fritts, he preceded her in death. Gloria was also preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her children, Daniel Hernandez, Cheryl Howard (Mark), Steven Lute (Christy), William Lute Jr., (Janette), Linda Spencer (Kevin), Leslie Mitchell (Randy) and Albert Fritts and brother, Robert Nesbitt (Mildred). Gloria attended Hope Anthem Church in Ottawa. She was a lead person at Puritan Bennett in Lenexa in the late 70’s to late 80’s and worked at Walmart in Ottawa and Oklahoma from the late 1980’s, retiring in 2007. Gloria also worked as an assembly person at C.O.F. Training Services in Ottawa from 2008 to her retirement in 2021.
