George J. Poster

George John Poster, age 75, Cleveland, Mo. passed away February 18, 2009 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, Mo. He was born February 10, 1934 in Mantador, ND, the son of John & Cecilia Terhar Poster. He moved to Kansas City in 1955. He was a hardworking carpenter and enjoyed fishing and loved farming his land. May he now be at peace with the Lord our God. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Reba (Wayman) brother, Roger, and sisters, Luella King and Audrey Asmus. Survivors include his brother, Ralph Poster and wife Nell of Kansas City, Mo.; 2 sisters, Mildred Anderson and husband Ray, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wi.; and Madlyn Peterson and husband Bud of Hunarock, Ma.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Louisburg, Ks. The visitation will be 10:00 " 11:00 a.m. Monday prior to the service.
