George D. “Trey” Harris, III, age 27, of Williamsburg, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at AdventHealth Ottawa. Private memorial services will be held. Inurnment will be at Baker Cemetery, Burlington, Kansas, with a celebration of life service to be held in the spring. Trey was born March 21, 1993, at Ottawa, Kansas, the son of Tina (With) and George Harris, Jr. He lived in Williamsburg his entire life and growing up was involved in any sport he could participate in. He was an amazing athlete, but his true love was basketball. As an adult, Trey could be found tinkering in the shop or riding in the Jeep with his dog by his side. He was a volunteer member of the Williamsburg/Homewood Fire Department. Trey was currently working for Harris Construction as a heavy machine operator and previously worked for the Asplundh Tree Service. Trey was a lively spirit his entire life and always knew how to make people laugh. He had the biggest heart and would give anyone the shirt off his back. He loved his dogs, Tank, Ellie, and Nova, flamingos, being outdoors, fishing, mudding, and the mountains. Trey is preceded in death by grandparents, Daniel and Opal (Reekie) With, and Daisy (Burris) Harris. Survivors include his parents, JR and Tina; sister, Danielle; grandfather, George Sr., and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
