Gayle Ilene Clark was born April 9, 1945, at Ottawa, in Franklin County, Kansas. She was the daughter of Harley and Pauline (Goodwine) Blankenbeker. In 1968, she moved to Spring Hill, Kansas, and later to Olathe, Kansas for five years. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Don Blankenbeker; and, sister, Jean Kennard.
