Gary John Cargo

Gary John Cargo, age 60, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Thursday, February 6, 2003, his residence. Gary was raised in Idaho. He also lived in California, moving to Ottawa in 1980. He worked on drilling crews in Arizona, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Colorado. Since the 1980`s, he has driven for various trucking companies, presently driving for Penske of Kansas City, Kansas. Mr. Cargo served in the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963, receiving the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of Aerie Lodge #2700, Fraternal Order of Eagles; Ottawa Lodge #18, Ancient Free & Accepted Masons, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Post #5901, all of Ottawa. IN STATE: Mr. Cargo was cremated, the family will meet with friends 6:30 - 7:30 Wednesday evening at Dengel & Son Mortuary.
