Garrett Michael Stanchfield

Garrett Michael Stanchfield, 39, of Paola, passed away on November 5, 2023.

He was born on July 27, 1984 to Michael Stanchfield and Tammy Crane (Harclerode) in Overland Park, Kansas.

He graduated from Paola High School with the class of 2003.

Garrett was self employed as a contractor and remodeler. He formed his own business in 2015.

He was an avid cook and one of his favorite hobbies was smoking meat and listening to music with his friends. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with friends and family at Knuckleheads. He took pride in his stereo system he built and collecting vinyl records. He also had a vast collection of top shelf bourbon.

Garrett had a wonderful sense of humor and was an excellent friend. He was like a big brother to many of his friends. He always had their backs and was often standing up for the underdog.

His greatest pride was his children. He was a good father.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wayne Harclerode and paternal grandfather, Ray Stanchfield.

Garrett is survived by his parents; brothers, Durland and Bronson Crane; sisters, Spencer Eble and Mikenzie Stanchfield; children, Aspen, Dawsen, and Boyd Stanchfield; step-father, Bradley Crane; grandmothers, Leanna Stanchfield and Florence Harclerode; and many other friends and relatives.

Celebration of life will be held on December 2nd at the VFW in Paola, Kansas.
