Frank James Mathews

Frank James Mathews, age 75, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Sunday, March 28, 2010. He was born on Friday, February 8, 1935, in Atascadero, California, the son of Frank James Winfield Mathews and Eleen (Trumbley) Mathews. He was a resident of Ottawa since 2009, moving from California. Frank graduated from Modesto (California) High School with the class of 1954 and attended college in Modesto. He was a psychiatrist technician in Santa Anna, Modesto and Napa, California for 19½ years, retiring in 1995. He was also a ditch rider in Nevada for six years and ditch tender 14 years in Oakdale, California. On July 28, 1974, Frank was united in marriage with Louise Marie Bolduc in Carson City, Nevada. She survives of their home. He is survived by his: Wife-Louise Mathews of their home; Daughter-Rachel Kaye of Ottawa, Kansas; Daughter-Marie Jointer and her husband, Mark, of Ceres, California; Daughter-Patience Gregory and her husband, Jim, of Oakdale, California; Daughter-Reneé Boutsikakis and her husband, Johnny, of Modesto, California; Daughter-Charity Gwartney and her husband, David, of Oakdale, California; Son-Benjamin Moses and his wife, Susie, of Sun City, California; Grandchild-Naomi Whitt; Grandchild-Tinesha Borgess; Grandchild-Mark Joiner; Grandchild—Jeffery Ferris; Grandchild-Nathan Bacon; Grandchild-Justin Ferris; Grandchild-Chad Hamblin; Grandchild-Margaret Benge; Grandchild-Nathan Gregory; Grandchild-Melissa Gregory; Grandchild-Tabitha Boutsikakis; Grandchild-Britany Graham; Grandchild-Alexandra Graham; Grandchild-Logan Gwartney; Grandchild-Kaley Graham; Grandchild-Robbie Moses; Gt.Grandchild-Harley Whitt; Gt.Grandchild-Nevaeh Benge; Gt.Grandchild-Evan Cooper; Gt.Grandchild-Parker Borgess; Gt.Grandchild-Chase Borgess. He is preceded in death by his Father-Frank James Winfield Mathews, Mother- Eleen (Trumbley) Mathews, Brother-William Mathews. SERVICES: Cremation is planned.
