Frank E. Gilliam, 69, Ottawa, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at his residence. Private family services are planned. He was born Oct. 21, 1940, in Rogersville, Tenn., to John W and Aubra (Lowery) Gilliam. He grew up in Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas and Illinois, later moving to Ottawa in 1982. He worked for 18 years as a clerk at Wingert’s Service Station before retiring in 1999. He married Sandra Moore Oct. 16, 2001, at Paola. She survives of the home. Other survivors include daughters, Kelli Gilliam, Ottawa, Heather Moore and her wife, Amy Nicholson, Ottawa; sons, Jason Moore and his wife, Jessica, Ottawa, Aarron Moore and his wife, Cora, Ottawa, Corey Moore, Ottawa, Ryan Moore, Ottawa; brothers, Elmer Gilliam, Illinois, John Gilliam, Rogersville, Tenn., and Rodney Gilliam, Kentucky; Patrick Gilliam, Rogersville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Winter Moore, Kaine Moore, Gabriel Moore, Makaila Moore, Madison Moore and Talia Nicholson-Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, a brother and a son. Memorial contributions can be made to the Franklin County Cancer Foundation and sent in care of Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa KS 66067.
