Franklin D. “Frank” Gaddis, 82, of Pomona, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019. Cremation is planned. A celebration of life will be held later. Frank was born July 14, 1936, in Ottawa, the son of Loren Otis and Sunshine (Young) Gaddis. He grew up in the Ottawa area moving to Englewood, Colorado where he lived from 1961 to 2014. In 2014, Frank moved to Pomona where he made his home until his death. He attended Princeton High School but graduated from Easton High School with the class of 1954. Frank served in the Kansas National Guard in the mid-1950s. Survivors include sons, Duke Franklin Gaddis of Pomona and Dirk Loren Gaddis of Evergreen, Colorado; brother, John Gaddis of Lynnwood, Kansas; sister, Elaine Oakleaf and husband John of Effingham, Kansas; and sister-in-law, June Gaddis of Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Loren Young Gaddis. Frank was a lifelong accountant working for several oil companies including, Dino Oil Company, Phillips 66 and Chevron Corporation.
