Francis Rabuse

Francis M. Rabuse 95 of Paola passed away March 3, at the Olathe Medical Center from complication of a hip fracture. Memorial Services will be 10 AM Tues. with visitation 9 to 9:30 AM with rosary being recited at 9:30 AM at the Penwell-Gabel Paola Chapel, inurnment in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Kansas City Kansas. Frank Was born Dec. 30, 1913 in Kansas City Kansas to Henry and Anna Rabuse. He was raised in the Kansas City area and was united in marriage to Marie Zeltinger in Kansas City Kansas, together they raised two children. In Franks early years he had a restaurant in Kansas City, Kansas then he went to work at a packing house for many years and in 1949 he purchased farmland in Miami County and began farming. He and his wife move to Paola in 1950. Frank enjoyed fishing, traveling with his wife throughout the country, and had a passion for inventing where he had several patents for farm related products. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, four brothers, Albert, Harold, Otto, and Alfred Rabuse, and one sister Tillie Rabuse . Surviving are his children, daughter Delores Day of Paola and son Frank Rabuse and wife Harriett of Shawnee, Kansas, four grandsons, Doug, Don, Dan, Dave Day, and one great grandson Deven Day. .He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
