Francis E. Meier

Frances Elizabeth Meier, age 94, of Louisburg, KS died March 17, 2011 at Vintage Park, Louisburg, KS. She was born April 22, 1916 at Louisburg, KS, the daughter of John Francis and Mary Anna (Spielbusch) Sheehan. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Meier on February 17, 1934 in Olathe, KS. Frances was a homemaker and a member of the Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Wea, Bucyrus, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, one sister and one son. Survivors include her two sons, Charles Meier and wife Kay, Shell Knob, MO; and Paul Meier and wife Joyce, Tyler, TX; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Wea, Bucyrus, KS. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the mass.
