Frances E. Hastert

Frances E. Hastert, age 91, of Paola, Kansas passed away February 20, 2016. Visitation will be 10:00 " 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home, 305 N. Pearl St., Paola, KS. Funeral service follows at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at St. John's Cemetery, Greeley, Kansas. A reception will follow the services at K & M Bar-B-Q, 603 N. Webster, Spring Hill, KS. Frances E. Hastert was born June 15, 1924 in Wichita, Kansas to William and Dora Gardner. She was one of four children, one brother and two sisters who preceded her in death. Frances met and married Robert V. Hastert on June 27, 1942. They were blessed with three daughters, Diana, Debbie and Robin. Robert, Diana and Robin have also preceded her in death. Frances enjoyed yard sales, the many travels she and Robert made, and going to casinos. Frances leaves behind one daughter, Debbie Bareham and her husband Tony, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and the many friends who will miss her dearly.
