Frances A. Springer, 95, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014, at her home in Warsaw, Missouri, with her family by her side. Family and friends will meet for a graveside service at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Williamsburg, Kansas, 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 13, 2014. She was born on Thursday, June 13, 1918 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Fred and Minnie (Smith) Kyzer. She has been a longtime resident of Warsaw since 1975, moving from Denver, Colorado. Frances graduated from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas with the class of 1936. On June 13, 1936 Frances was united in marriage with Charles Clayton Springer in Kansas City, Kansas. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and also worked as a bookkeeper. Frances was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, playing the organ, tending to her 2 cats, gardening, flowers and dog grooming. Survivors include her children, Don Springer and his wife of Wiggins, Colorado, Pennie Westfall and husband of Williamsburg, and James Springer and wife of Thornton, Colorado; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Fred Kyzer, Jr.; sister, Mary Smith; and step-sister, Jean Luth. An online Guest Book is available at www.dengelmortuary.com.
