Forna Pearl Flager

Forna Pearl Flager, 94, of Ottawa, Kansas died on Tuesday, February 10, 2009. She was born on Friday, October 2, 1914, in Pomona, Kansas. She was the daughter of Walter and Phoebe (Peebles) Rosenbaum. She was a lifelong resident of Franklin County, Kansas, moving to Ottawa from Pomona in 1996. Forna graduated from Pomona High School with the class of 1932. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Pomona United Methodist Church. On February 9, 1936, Forna was united in marriage with Floyd Marion Flager in Ottawa, Kansas. He preceded her in death on September 10, 1978. Survivors include: Daughter-Judy Hull & her husband, Arville of Pomona, Kan. Daughter-in-law-Jeannette Flager of Pomona, Kan. Brother-in-law-Orville Flager & his wife, Jo of Ottawa, Kan. Grandchild-Bryan Hull of Pomona, Kan. Grandchild-Ashley Hull of Kansas City, Kan. Grandchild-Max Flager & his wife, Kim, of Pomona, Kan. Grandchild-Angie Corwine & her husband, Mitch, of Michigan Valley, Kan. Grandchild-Traci Hower & her husband, Stacy, of Pomona, Kan. Gt. Grandchildren-Eight She was preceded in death by: Father-Walter Rosenbaum Mother-Phoebe (Peebles) Rosenbaum Son-Max Floyd Flager Sister-Rachel Isle SERVICES: Graveside services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2009. IN STATE: Friends may pay their respects to Mrs. Flager at the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday. CEMETERY: Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Kansas.
