Floyd E. Moehlman, 70, of Pomona, passed away, Monday, October 12, 2020, in Osage County, Kansas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Williamsburg, Kansas. The family will meet with friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday, October 19, 2020 at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. Floyd was born Monday, January 23, 1950 in Manhattan, Kansas, the son of Earnest and Isla (Moore) Moehlman. He was a resident of Pomona, Kansas since the early 1980’s moving there from Manhattan, Kansas. Floyd graduated from Manhattan High School with the class 1968. He was united in marriage to Gail Green October 31, 1991, in Osage City, Kansas. She survives of the home. Other survivors include two brothers, Melvin Moehlman of Pomona and Glen Mallam from western Kansas; sister, Rita Moehlman of Haltom City, Texas. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents and an infant child. Floyd worked in the maintenance department at Ransom Memorial Hospital, Ottawa and dedicated 19 years to Rock Creek of Ottawa nursing home. He was a member of Community Foursquare Church and a former member of Osage City Baptist Church. Floyd enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on small engines.
