Floriene Boehm

Floriene Boehm age 94 of Paola passed away Oct. 12 at home. M. Floriene was born in Chanute Kansas to Erskine and Mamie Walker Howell. She graduated from Stanley High in 1933 and attended Pittsburg College. Floriene grew up in the Kansas City area and on May 9, 1936 she was united in marriage to Howard I. Boehm in Hiawatha, Kansas. She was an accountant for British Car Motors of K.C. for over 30 years working at different locations, and retired iin 1982. She also worked in Osawatmoie Kansas for the Family Medical Center. Floriene has lived in the Miami County area since 1978 moving here from Stanley. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Hershel and one grandson Curtis, and one niece Elaine. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Survivors are her son Larry Boehm of Linn Valley KS. and daughter Marjie Dubois of the home, 7 grandchildrren, 10 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and 2 nephews. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to the March of Dimes.
