Faye loved to travel, enjoying countless adventures. Her deep devotion to family was evident in everything she did, and she derived immense joy from witnessing the growth and accomplishments of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Faye was a respected member of her community, contributing her time and talents as a member of the Oasis Club, the Eastern Star, and the Gardening Club. These affiliations spoke to her commitment to service and connection with others.

She is survived by her son Ivan Hunt Jr. (Rhonda) of Ottawa, Kansas; her daughters Mary Anderson (Larry) of Pomona, Kansas, and Carolyn Galloway of Olathe, Kansas; her brother Ted Jeffers of Joplin, Missouri; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Along with her husband Ivan, Faye was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Walter Lee Hunt; and five brothers. Her family and friends will remember her warmth, kindness, and indomitable spirit.

A graveside service will be held on December 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery, located on K-68 Highway in Pomona, Kansas. The service will honor her life and legacy, bringing together family and friends to celebrate the remarkable woman she was.
