Evelyn B. Rone age 93 of Hillsdale passed away Tues. ather sons home in Rantoul. Gravesides Services will be Fri. Sept. 18, at Hillsdale Cemetery at 11:15 AM. Memorials to the Southern Care Hospice, to leave family condolences go to penwellgabelpaola.com Evelyn was born Sept. 13, 1916 in HighFill Arkansas to Reagan and Callie Douglas Inscoe. In the summer of 1933 she was united in marriage to Woodrow Rone in Arkansas,where they lived until moving to Hillsdale in 1949. Evelyn worked for the Osawatomie State Hospital in the laundry department for over 25 years retiring in 1982. She enjoyed crocheting, vegetable and flower gardens, enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents,husband, brother, Haxton, sister, Mildred Hensley, son Wayne, and an infant son. Survivors are her children, Son Vernon and wife Peggy Rone of Rantoul, Dau. Wanda and husband Alvin Kern of Wagstaff, Dau. Betty White of Paola and 7 grandchildren, 20 great grand, and 1 great great grandchild Hillsdale Cemetery, Hillsdale KS.
