Esther Evelyn Keller Esther Evelyn Keller, 91, passed away on July 22, 2008 at the Hillside Village Care Center in Desoto, KS. Visitation will be Friday July 25 from 10:00- 12:00pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Block, KS. Services will follow at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at the Block Cemetery. On June 8, 1941 in Paola, KS, she married Edgar E. J. Keller, a Lutheran Missionary and together they served the Lord for 34 years in Latin America and Texas. Together they had and raised four children. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Edgar and two sisters, Edna Prothe and Elsie Grother. Surviving are her four children Otto and wife LaVerne of Independence, MO, Richard and wife Cheryl of Oviedo, Fl, Mary and husband Earl Martens of Maple Grove, Minn. and Martha Smith of Olathe, one Brother Ted Gerken of Paola and two Sisters Hilda Eckhoff of Paola and Irene Stohs of Waterville, Ks, Grandchildren Jennifer, Jonathan, Richard, Michael, Daniel, Monica, Eric, Jessica and Aaron; Great Grandchildren and one Great- great Grandchild.
