Esther Grace (Mock) Miller, age 87, of Ottawa, Kan., died Sunday, May 18, 2003, at Brandon Woods Retirement Comm. in Lawrence, Kansas. She was born December 7, 1915 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Howard Mock and the late Laura (Magnes) Mock. Esther was a near lifelong resident of Johnstown, Cambria County, Pennsylvania, moving to Ottawa, Kansas in 1998. Mrs. Miller graduated from Johnstown High School, Johnstown, Pennsylvania with the class of 1922. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and also worked as a seamstress for a garment manufacturing company. For fifteen years, she was a book binder for Benchoff Printing Company in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, retiring in 1980. Mrs. Miller was a member of Moxham Church of the Brethren of Johnstown, where she was a Sunday school teacher for forty years and an active volunteer with the young children of the church. In her spare time, Esther enjoyed bowling. In 1934, Esther was united in marriage with Ross Miller at Johnstown, Pennsylvania. He preceded her in death in 1946. On November 16, 1955, she was united in marriage with Elmer G. Miller in Maryland. He preceded her in death in 1981. She is also survived by her One Daughter, Stepdaughter-Hildra Kough of Nanny Glo, Pa. Three Sons, Son-Jim Miller of Ottawa, Kan. Stepson-Robert Miller of Johnston, Pa. Stepson-Elmer
